Poor Portis

I just felt that I should speak up in defense for poor Portis, who has been beaten like a drunk Infernal by the Oakstone council. If I understand this correctly, she has been enemied to the forests, no? And this would mean that she cannot even enter her own grove all because she was starting to develop a monopoly on the cures and elixirs business. I know that she was over-harvesting things, but to have her unable to enter her own grove is a rather harsh punishment for making extensive use of her abilities. And then there was that argument as to whether or not she re-planted, well I lack both the authority and the knowledge to judge either party in this argument, but being a Sentinel myself I can say that replanting can take quite awhile, and its no wonder that she didnt get the job done overnight. And then someone else goes and does the replanting for her, thus denying her the ability to do this herself it sounds to me like someone made the deal with Portis and then a third party decided to renege upon
Lets cut to the chase, shall we? Now, how many of you are married?
Many great things are forged through compromise. Marriages, Nations, just who is going to get to keep whichever part of whatever infernal (Sorry I have this thing against Infernals, more on that later if you care to read it). I say we give Portis a chance! Keep her enemied to the forests if you wish, but allow her into her own grove and let her do as she wishes with the plants there. Oakstone cannot after all keep her out of the deserts and caves and oceans of Sapience, where many ingredients are to be found. With that and her own grove, she can then keep just one shop open, and sell a moderate amount without traumatizing the forest by abducting its vegetating citizens. That should be enough to satisfy both parties I think, and even if they arent completely satiated they can at least stop arguing about it.
P. S. Please dont enemy me forests! I love you! I take REAL good care of my grove and make sure all its inhabitants are well watered and fed, I almost never harvest any of them
Penned by my hand on the oh hey, I almost forgot.
Ive been receiving a few complaints, but almost none from anyone Ill actually listen too yes, I have been slaughtering Infernals, and no, Im not going to stop. And as for their winning that I am killing them inside of Ashtan, well Im already enemied, and despite what they say I have to this day only one kill INSIDE of the city. Most of the time I just make attack runs and fly out with a stunned black knight in my claws before the city archers can even draw a bead on me. I have sharp eyes.
Theyre supposed to be a powerful fighting force, but so far all theyve proved themselves to be is a bunch of bungling idiots. The score at this point is Alex: 8, Infernals: 2. Three if you count Halo killing me, as the traitor is allied with them even though hes too scared to learn necromancy and give up his abuse of devotional magic.
I dont think I really need to supply any reasons as to why Im doing this, as anyone who cant figure it out on their own belongs in the Iron Citadel with the rest of the Infernals trying to get their falcon to smoke cactus weed.
The will of the warrior is lacking in these pitiful abominations. One day Sartan killed me four times and branded me with his personal disfavor, because I insulted his philosophy and then told him he was going to pay for what he did to me. Ah, but what can a lowly mortal such as myself do against a god? Nothing, really
But interestingly enough I did have a plan at the time. I was going to attack Sartans Philosophy in a debate I intended him to lose. He caught wind of this, and being in a bad mood easily got me to reveal one of my key arguments to him. I said to him, "Is there strength in honor?"
He thought it over for a little while, and then said to me, "Yes, there is much strength in honor." And then he fried me again.
The very next day the Infernals, in Lord Sartans own words, "were upon us." And lo and behold, probably to kill my metaphorical weapon before it could even get warmed up, was the Infernal Manifesto- The Infernals were evil, but evil with honor.
Hellloooooo contradiction here. The Infernal Manifesto is an auto-immune joke, if you know what I mean, and honor has nothing in relation to the seven truths, if you really look at them. This weakness of character is what makes the Infernals so weak in the first place. Their manifesto is in fact probably their greatest weakness, one I have exploited as much as I can. One I intend to continue to exploit, until they either die out or change it.
Any REAL warrior knows that honor, if there is such a thing, is something reserved for your allies, not your enemies. Any warrior who extends such a thing to his opponent will very quickly turn into a dead warrior. I know this, the Church knows this, but the Infernals obviously dont.
I have in fact forced them to team me on two occasions, as Cooper and Ciasa couldnt handle me alone. Which is rather sad, considering they are both one too two hundred ranks above me.
I sure am glad I got that out of my system, hehe. Anyone who wishes to join in on the Infernal bashing, just send me a tell, and well pick them apart in my grove. And Infernals, dont waste your breath "challenging" me. I fight only on my own terms, because those are the best terms, and those are the terms that lead to my victory.
And so... let the hunt begin!
