Good/Evil

Hum... well, you all know I don't post very much, but I want to make a comment here.
As you all have heard so many times, Good and Evil are extremely difficult to define. What Luna said in her post is a very convincing argument, and Perrin's post had some valid points as well. Although we try to separate the two 'Goods' and 'Evils', it is impossible to do so unless we live in a perfected world. Each one of us has a certain amount of Good, and Evil as well. The difference is how much of the good or evil we have contained in ourselves.
As Luna stated before, we all have the desire to be great. And the difference between the 'Good' and 'Evil' is how you want to become a great person. By becoming a loving and caring, person... a role model from whom your children can look up to and learn from. Or a person who only wishes to dominate and cause pain and suffering to others. And of course, we very rarely see a person who is completely caring and forgiving at all times, nor a person who is so obsessed by giving pain that he does not care about anything else.
The point is that we are all not perfect, and even though we claim to be on the 'Good' side or the 'Evil', you can always find some faults in the other. It is also much easier to see the faults in the 'Good' whenever they do not meet up the these expectations. And just because someone is not perfect, it does not mean they are evil.
What is important, is how you live your life personally. We have been put on this earth by the Gods so we can live with the rest of the creation. Not to destroy them. Of course, unless the sole purpose of them were to create life, and then to watch them suffer and die.
In my own eyes, hardly anyone in this world can be considered perfectly 'Good'. Although some come very close. And as Luna states, very few of us know how to use these Gifts of the Gods properly.
And to comment on Perrin's post.. Yes, a great part of being Good is to have compassion for the weak. But alas, in this world, it is very hard to overcome the temptations of these things. I myself have given up on killing a long while ago.
And finally, about the 'Good' trying to get rid of the 'Evil'. The motivations for each is different, but I feel that it is not that the good is trying to kill off all evil persons, but it is trying to wipe the 'Evil' from this world. And why would we care if we have no evils to fight against? Isn't what we ultimately want? 🙂
By 'Evil', meaning the lack of compassion, caring, and the giving that we see everywhere in this world today.
And anyway, I haven't posted for a long time.. and I hope I won't have to again.. too much thinking..
Peace! .-=*'
