shadows of the Cave

I am beginning to see the futility of enlightening one who has been blinded by a lifetime of darkness, chained by his own weakness to the walls of a cave. You see nothing but Shadows, Strife, and you mistake them for Truth.
Your point No. 2 is nonsense, as I have put forth the truths of the Church and the shrines, and I have proven that they are not oppressive or evil--they are works of art which the evil have desecrated with their agression and slander. Your refusal to accept the truth has made you blind to that fact.
Your point No. 4 is a paradox, since if all the numerous humans among us become great, there will be no significant value of greatness, and greatness will not Be. I am still not convinced that you are emotionless. Please try to find a more persuasive argument.
Finally, you are incorrect in saying that "this sort of thinking", in which concern for others transcends greatness, "eliminates greatness. . .". The ways of goodness are to cultivate all the hopes and dreams of man, such that everyone who has a gift can fulfill his or her destiny of being great in their own way. The Good believe that every being has his or her purpose, that the gods have vested in every one of us a form of greatness. The only people who are weak are those who are either afraid to face their god-given strengths, or who seek to destroy divine creation in spite and hatred.
Good possesses a strength which the evil cannot even imagine, as it seeks to preserve the greatness in every man. The Evil seek to destroy those forms of greatness which they cannot understand, and therefore which they fear.
Sincerely,
Echo
