Now we all know the truth about shrines so stop trying to say they aren't what everyone knows they are.
'Now about you view of the just and unjust. Shrines violate my happiness, so that makes the entire church unjust. Don't try to argue with me either because you words are " the injust are those who violate the happiness of others out of greed." The only reason you have shrines is due to your greed for power.
'i know about the treaty that says the church will remove the shrine at south of North of Thera. You still haven't done that. More oppresion. Why don't you try taking a look around Achaea sometime. tell me where Other than right outside Ashtan and in the middle of the forests, is there not a shrine within several rooms?
'we know how the shrines give you the power to heal and help increase the power of some of your attacks. We know you can command the shrines to attack anyone you wish if they are close enough to it. I respect the gods. I think they could use a bit more sense of humour occasionally, but i still respect them. the shrines are not there to honor them though. You say we have the choice to defile them. How can we when they are all gold and you can sanctify it within less than an hour of what it took us three hours to defile if we can even defile it? Why not make it as easy to defile as it is to sanctify?
Now you say it is your job to prevent evil from flourishing. Question for ya. if you get rid of evil, what will your job be then? protecting the achaean citizens from spitting on the sidewalk? Don't get me wrong. i know you will never get rid of evil. you aren't strong enough. but remember that we live here too. 'would you help a newbie kharon, occultist, or infernal if they were in trouble? probably not, because they are evil. and yet we evil ones would help them. so that makes us at least a little good and it actually makes you evil for turning your back on a newbie.
i know i am rambling but i can't stand seeing golden shrines anymore.
'i really hate seeing the one just south of the most popular sparring area outside of the arena. it gives churchies an unfair advantage over everyone else. What increases the kharon's, occultist's , infernal's, or shadowsnake's power?
Which reminds me of something. what do we use to honor our gods? your shrines are to deucalion and aurora and the "good" gods(no disrespect intended). what do we get for the "evil" gods, like eris, or twilight or sartan? we don't have anything to show them our respect.
'these are just the ramblings of an angry young man who wants to help try to change achaea for the betterment of everyone
