Drop the bull crap already. Shrines are not just a monument of your
respect for the gods, if that were true you would keep them solely
in your Basillica, and not scatter the weapons I mean shrines strategically
throughout Achaea. You say we have nothing to fear from shrines, they
are only used to defend themselves and we should learn to tolerate them.
It is a bit hard to tolerate a structure that inflicts fear into our hearts
releases demons and hellish flames to attack us, along with various
other evils. We do not tolerate shrines, not because we do not respect
the church or that we have no respect for the gods, we do not tolerate
the shrines because quite simply they are weapons. Now to further prove my
point I can name two shrines that exist in the world that no one has
yet complained about, the Shrine of Life and the Shrine of Death, both
located in Lady Gaia's temple. Why if intolerance of your culture and holy
veneration is the reason we defile and "slander" shrines, do we not
protest and defile the shrines in Gaia's temple. The answer is the shrines
in Gaia's temple are there as reverance and respect to Life and Death, your
"shrines" exist as Dingo put it once to allow easy transportation through
the land and help fight the enemies of the church. I believe it is
apparent to all the true motives behind the church's shrines.
