Sensations, emotions, hatred, pain, pleasure?

Anxiety is a sensation that we should experience (say some of you) physically. It is a chemical reaction, in this particular case, one involving a rush of adrenaline. This is also true for any "physical" feeling, or sensation, that may occur. Not convinced? Try this: ever had a headache? You get an aching sensation in the head. It is based on a chemical reaction. In both cases, your bodily functions are affected by a chemical change in your body. The most fragile bodily function is that of thought (read emotional and rational thought). If my finger experiences a constant itch, it will instinctively call upon frustration (an emotion!). A sensation of anxiety will call upon an emotion also called anxiety (it is a lack of patience that may result in mild frustration). Isn't this great? The same goes for the headache: a sensation of aching present inside the head leads to a state of depression. It is there safe to say, with three random samples, the sensation is always accompanied by emotion. Sadly, you can not
emotion. Sadly, you can not control your sensations (unless you have an understanding of the human body beyond that of the elite of today's biologists, and a will acquired through plenty of meditation that may control your internal reactions in detail). Neither can you control the surfacing of your own emotions (if your finger itches, you will experience frustration). You can however remove an emotion (once present) from your mind with strong reason; else your reason will become the slave of this emotion. Reasoning, is something you can learn, rationality, an ability you can improve; and strong reason is an attainable goal. Living WITHOUT EMOTION is not.
And now, to use Gaia's favourite method of argument: A) discussing this is extremely lame when you can discuss anything else in Achaea (well, maybe not the size of Sarapis's nose, no harm intended! but you get my drift) B) different emotions attaches you to things and C) you are attached to Achaea, else you would not invest your money and time in it, therefore D) you all have emotions, like it or not, and some that you don't feel it is necessary to reject through thorough reasoning (see emotional attachment to Achaea).
<then he goes on singing> feelings, nothing more than feelings...
