"The only way that emotions may be kept out of the process of reasoning is to kill them completely," you say. Of course, it's the easy way! Tell me, what would life be like without emotion? No happiness, no sadness, no frustration, no anger, no jealousy, no amazement, no curiosity, no inspiration, no hope? You say your method of liberating the mind by killing all emotion is aimed at being more constructive? How constructive can you be if you have no motivation? I fear for the world if it were to become emotionless. In its death, emotion takes with it progress of the future as well as the memories of the past.

"Hatred does not cater to greed, " you say. Of course not, it's the other way around. Greed caters to hatred. Hatred comes out of greed, the mother of all evil. Out of greed comes war, out of greed comes hatred, simple. Doing it your way, you, devoid of all emotion, need to destroy something in order to be constructive. Destroy, build it back, destroy it again, build it back, progress you say? Only if you believe in illusions. I, and people like me, we who appreciate and honor our god-given emotions, from frustration to inspiration, we build new things and preserve the old.

Truly, without emotion there is no creativity, and without creativity there is no strength.
