I only have two comments in this tax debate...

1. The only thing the archers and telepaths care about is enemies
of Shallam. Any Shallamese citizen could steal me blind and they
would care not a bit. No insult intended to the Logos, of course.

2. We should face the truth of the matter which is this... The
military actions and/or lack of success in military campaigns has
depleted the coffers of Shallam. I do not have a problem with the
tax in general but absolutely will not pay any money which will then
go towards the military and, ultimately, the loss of lives on one
side or another. I have made the promise to keep healing herbs and
elixirs available to all who need them and I will continue to do so.
But I will not fund a war.
