The old notes are an enjoyable way to view what Achaean life was like back then. It is a refreshing glance at history and I would prefer that they remained, knowing that I often like to refer back to them during times of boredom or when something of relevance is contained within them.

Since, all you really need to know is notes from 2400 (or so) and onwards, it should be no problem for you to catch up if your really interested. And later, perhaps you can take the time to go back and read some of the older posts.
