I must say that I am not speaking for Gaia, as her omniscience is beyond mortal understanding. But the Oakstone deals with matters in the mortal realm, and it is with this in mind that I address your post, Vula.
We care as much about the Northern Ithmia as we do the Aalen or the Western Ithmia. These are the three forests of Achaea. True, there are other forested locations, and we have been looking out for those as well.
When you compare an area in the forest to an equal sized area in say...the plains, look at what is there. There is more of nature, more plants, more animals, more insects, more birds within the forests. We do not forsake the plains or the mountains or the swamps or the deserts for this reason, but as mortals we are finite. We have been charged with protecting the three major forests, and that is what we are doing. Patience with the Northern Ithmia for now. It is by no means resolved.
As to cutting down part of the forest to make a road, I think that shows how willing Gaia, and the Oakstone is to compromise. We have offered part of that which we hold beloved so that others may prosper.
If anyone still harbors doubts as to the convictions of the Oakstone, I would be happy to discuss this with them.
