The Aalen Forest

Okay, so I'm not a Druid, but I still can write about the forest and my thoughts on an event that happened earlier to the Aalen Forest. I have spent a lot of time here, because I have found it a nice quiet refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities where everyone has their eyes on the ground searching for rats. Not that this is a bad thing, I have spent much of my time in ratting as well.

But it seems someone had the effrontery to burn a part of this beautiful forest in which I seek some solace. I don't know the specifics on who did it and why they were so callous to initiate such a deed, but it is abhorrent behaviour and nothing else. But, in truth, I am not here to write about this person(s)' crimes. I would like to note the efforts of those that immediately rushed to the forest in order to aid it when it could not help myself. And I was extremely touched by their efforst in doing so. I wandered the forest and all about me, I heard yells requesting one type of plant or the other to plant in a damaged portion. Through my deathsight, I even saw that Apprentice Druid Kazin had given his life to this cause, for we was slain by a forest basilisk. And if I remember correctly, he also met his demise in crossing over to Aalen at the jaws of a mountain lion.

I cannot name all of those that have put their hands into helping this damaged forest, for if I missed one, then I would be degrading them by doing so. But those of you that brought your skills to the forest and did what you could, I say thank you as should the rest of us that find enjoyment and peace in such areas.

In my humble and often digressing opinion,
