Hello everyone...

I wish to apologize in advance for YET ANOTHER post on oakstone and
the issue between North Ithmia and Hashan as we have all read about
it ad nauseum. However, I am afraid I am a bit confused on some
points and wish to clarify them.

It was stated that the Oakstone protects the forests only not those
who reside within them. So that should suggest that it should not
have any influence over me nor any other forest dweller and any rules
decreed by them to be inapplicable to any forest dweller. Or are we
to be not protected nor asked only dictated to? Perhaps I misunderstand
what is the role of Oakstone. Are they then just a quasi-military
organization made to use the forest's natural defenses against those
that THEY decide are enemies of the forest? Are my friends going to be
no longer allowed to visit me in my grove without harm because some
organization claims them to be an enemy? I realize I only reside in my
grove and do not own it, but, frankly, I have seen people ruled as
enemy based more on immaturity and lack of information more times than
I would like to admit. So we forest dwellers have to completely trust
those chosen for Oakstone without having had any say in who serves it?
