As I watch these event unfold and see the strife in both sides I feel the need to point out to those of Oakstone that without territories gained by the city of Hashan that it will suffocate and die out due to lack of funds from these locations. I have always respected the druid way of life in trying to keep a neutral stance on things but to try and strangle the city of Hashan to non existence in such a way is far from neutrality.
I understand your concerns and needs of the forests and what they supply every being in the realm with, but I also understand the cities need for growth as well as what they supply, do you?
Perhaps instead of demanding that Hashan leaves the forests alone, that they have no choice in capturing to survive as a city, you may work and help them in these trying times. Show them some out of the way, accessible areas that shall not enter groves, areas that are not as sensitive to your needs or wants. Perhaps even you may be able to come to some agreements that shall benefit you as well on areas already captured, such as reduced prices on the items you still need to purchase from their city.
Do not forget that it is the cities that produce such things as pocketbelts and backpacks that you all use. By the same token Hashan, do not forget that the druids do produce the herbs and elixirs that you use from these forests, so I am sure some sort of mutual help can be worked out.
