Hashan and the Freaking Forest

Ok, I have absolutely nothing to do with the forest or Hashan. I'm just a priest of moderate level who likes to know what's going on in the world he lives in.

That aside, all I see here are people who both say that they are right. Apparently, a solution was reached that wasn't good enough for either side. I am referring to the road. What it looks like to me, and forgive my impudence, is that it started with the best of intentions, but quickly degenerated from a civil disagreement into a war of words. What next will Hashan declare war on the druids and sentinels, or vice versa? Then what becomes of the druids and sentinels who are members of Hashan? If those who are suppossedly protecting their groves keep up their attacks, there will be a war and the forest will be destroyed anyway.

If the road is not acceptable to either side, then you need to come to another solution, one that works. The only feasable way to do that is bring in an outside arbitrator who does not have feelings either way. The arbitrator can help decide what is best. And although I realize that Gaia, in her Divine wisdom, is doing her best to save her realm, it may be possible that her closeness to the land is clouding her judgement. I say that to bring up the point that the arbitrator could be a god that both sides trust, if one could be found. But whatever happens something needs to be resolved and both sides need to give more than they are, if anyone wants to save the forest.

I really don't how you get this problem resolved, but please do it quickly. I'm getting tired of verbal arrows that are being shot across this news section. Now my opinion doesn't count for very much, that I will freely admit. But the true source of my anger and annoyance is the potential loss of life and home. Many people will get hurt in more than their feelings, some already have, and I do not want to see you kill each other or the forest or the city. Sarapis made all things for his own glory, and to destroy those things would be to his dishonour and the dishonour of Gaia, Patron of the Forest, and Twilight, Patron of Hashan. As a priest, I am supposed to honour all things Divine, and to sit and watch you start destroying eachother and the Divine Creation that is Nature, would be like not helping a shrine or healing a wounded person. If I am to continue to call myself a Priest, then I have to tell you this.

I don't know if this will turn your hearts toward peace. But please take my words in the spirit in which they were meant.
