My History

I just thought that some out there might enjoy reading about my history. Any and all flames on it will ne ignored

I am Tsol'aa and proud, but I haven't always known that. The story of my
parents is unknown to me so is how I came to be raised by goblins. But here is
what I do know...

MY first memory is that of an ugly face peering at me telling me to get up. I was
young, about 4. I was told that all the ugly things had to go to work now. I hurt
from the day before. There were 10 of us that pulled ourselves up and grabed our axes.

We were told "Today you work in the Green part you no need axes." This was new because
we always worked in the mines.
We were handed baskets and strange tongs led into the lower part of
the hole we were forced to call home. This worried some because the goblins had
always told us never to go down there because of the things that lurk in unseen
shadows. I was too happy to be scared, I hated the mines.
Soon we entered the most lovely place I had ever seen. Everything was green and
alive. I could feel the power of the land. I knew I had made it home.

The Goblins showed us how to pick certain plants using the prongs and told us
we each had to fill 20 baskets or we would not eat that night. Everyone quickly
started to pick all but three of us. We were in heaven. We were the only
Tsol'aa in our little group. In fact we were the only Tsol'aa we ever saw. We
saw many of the other races.

The three of us started talking. Our goblin guards were too busy looking for
things that might attack to notice us. We spoke of faint images in our minds of
places like this and how we knew this was where we belong. That is when it
happend. The group of 10 ugly things (as we were called) and 5 goblins were
attacked. My friends and I ran into the Green place while the others ran for
the stairs. Only my freinds and I lived to see the end of that attack.

We lived down there for many years and learned how to use the Green, as we called it,
to make our life easier. We stole food for the goblins and other citizens
around our new home when we had to, but soon learned how to eat off the land. We
also found that if we took care of the Green it would take care of us. I was
happy and I thought that my friends were also. I was wrong. They wanted to see more
and one day they told me that they were going to try to get out of the hole and see
what was above.

I told them that I was going to stay.

Within an hour I heard a cry, no a scream, for help. I knew it was my friends.
When I finally got to them one was already dead and the other was going to die
soon. She asked me to please see what was up there and when we met again to
tell her everything I saw.

I agreed.

And so my life as an Achaean started
Now my life begains as a Achaean

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Glacian, in the year 227 AF.
