Well, it is good to see that at least you Hashanites are thinking.
But, I think you misunderstand the essential nature of Nature. =)
The vast vast majority of the spirit of nature is contained in
forests and jungles. The plants that we harvest are only a very small
portion of all the life in a forest, whereas the cacti in the Mhojave,
for instance, constitute nearly all the plant life there is. Forests
team with such life and diversity that they nearly achieve sentience.
Remember that I am speaking of forests here (of which only 3 are accessible
to you), not forested locations generally. Forested locations generally
are also of grave concern to us, but we must pick our battles, and as
the Aalen, Western Ithmia, and Northern Ithmia are by far the most
important parts of nature currently, and because we have only limited
influence, we choose to expend our influence in the most efficient manner
possible.
