As far as trusting your guild elders to negotiate for you, I am quite offended. In what way could we have stopped Hashan from claiming those lands around their city? Sarapis did not even allow for a way for these places to be "unclaimed" until recently, and Hashan has no road by which to reach their city except through the forests.
I am in no way saying I agree with Hashan claiming forested areas, quite the contrary. I think this subject should be put on the back burner until a road to Hashan is opened up, and even Gaia has said that she will, regrettably, agree with a road being cut through the forest to reach Hashan.
Once this occurs, do not think that Oakstone will, for a minute, be less than incredibly overzealous in negotiations to free up the forested areas.
