Quiz for the Gold

The Quiz for the Gold is almost here! Let me repeat that you don't have to be a trivia king or queen to do well. You must message Halcyon or myself before 6:00 PM EST (10:00 GMT) on Saturday, August 28th to get your entry fee at the reduced price of 400 gold. All who enter after will pay 500 gold. The Quiz will be Saturday, August 28th, at 11:00 PM EST (3:00 GMT). First prize is 15,000 gold. Second prize is 5,000 gold.
Thanks again to the church and the city of Hashan, both of which donated prize money for the Quiz.
Following are some rules for the Quiz. They will be reviewed further before we actually start.
1) The Quiz for the Gold will take place at 11:00 PM EST (3:00 GMT) at Wolfhaven, my grove. A pickup service will be available for those who need it.
2) All answers will only be accepted in a "tell" to Galdrion. Your first "tell" for each question will be the only one accepted, so don't accidentally hit "enter"!
3) You will have one minute to answer most questions. If your answer appears in a "tell" to me after I give the "time's up" because of lag or any other reason, it will not count. I will give a countdown.
4) We all hate lag, and being kicked offline. No exceptions will be made for lag, but if you are kicked offline, we will wait three minutes for your return the first two times it happens. (Sorry, but anything more would not be fair to everyone else.)
5) Please don't spam it up after the questions are asked. Okay to spam between "time's up" and "next question".
6) There will be seven, 3 question rounds. Each round is a little different and will be explained at the time for that round.
7) The seven rounds are: The Blockhead Round, The Achaea Round, The Make a Sentence Round, The Gambler Round, The Backstabber Round, The Clue Question Round, and the Riddle Round.
8) There will also be a semi-final and final question.
9) Last of all, there will be an intermission between rounds 4 and 5 where you can make points by doing things.
