Personally, I find the talk about animal sacrifice to be a distraction.
There are children and people who are treated by others as if they were nothing more than creatures to be butchered. In Ashtan and elsewhere. Are they less valuable?
I'm not aware of how animal sacrifice is practiced (never having done it). Is not the inhumanity of dwarf against elf, human against human, an example of such that Druids and others should protest?
I do not think that any animal has volunteered to desecrate a shrine. Perhaps you should protest that, as well.
