but really to druids and ex-druids.

Balkingly, I am led to say something here.
I see accusations of cliques and sycophants. I wait (though not in anticipation) to see if I too am labelled as one of my guildmaster's pets. If so, I will be nothing short of amazed. Why would I be called such, I wonder? Because I respect the will of my leaders? Or would it be because I too would fight for my guild, had we the need?
If Charnley is such a draconian leader, as has been suggested, why did someone not step foreward to wrest the mantle of leadership from him? Truly, I would like to know. I was approached about setting someone in Charnley's place, but when it became apparant that I supported our GM, the subject was dropped, and that person has not spoken to me since. Wonderous, isn't it? I was not told who would take his place, and truthfully, I care not, but I wonder... if this person had supporters, why did they not step foreward to challenge Charnley? Could it be, that our GM has the respect of his guild?
You will notice, that the druids who have posted on this matter on this board, (and I speak of those druids within the guild, though I still honours those who are not as druids) all speak of Charnley with respect. They have all agreed with his discisions. Not because we are under threat of outguilding if we do not agree, but because we think his choices were right. Amazing, isn't it? The only person who protested (at least out loud) to Claryssa's outguilding was Portis, and as far as I can see, NO ONE with in the guild has protested Portis's.
I am saddened that the problems of the guild have become public knowledge. But I fully invite the other guilds to bring their problems here as well... perhaps you could all get as enlightening advice as we have.
Portis, Claryssa, Haidion (and everyone else, i suppose) may you all be ever blessed, and I pray to the Lady that you shall find more joy without the guild than you were able to find within.
May the Stars forever light your road.
