Dear Haiadion,

I read your post, as ever, with interest. However I feel I should explain a few things.

Since you have been away, Charnley has struggled with a guild that is totally apathetic when it comes to sorting out their problems. I tried to arrange a council and had no more interest than a few sniffs and a few nods.

These two were not condusive to harmony at all, and the decisiont o outguild them was not on Charnley's whim. It was something that I believe most regular druids actually wanted. Dashel's words are correct, he has seen a lot in his 'handful of years'. He works to protect other druids and tries to promote harmony all the time. You say that Portis was a fine druid, how many druids steal from each other's groves I wonder? On that subject I shall say no more, as I am expecting a torrent of Portisarian abuse over that one. Last night, I was attacked and killed simply because our guild did not want to tolerate those members any longer. I think you will find that the remaining members of the guild, and there are many of us, actually agree about all of this.

One last thing Haidion, I wish you had been here recently to see the ridiculous converstaions that went on, it would make more sense then. I tried to talk to Portis and she accused me of thinking everyone else below me, that I was unwilling to listen to others and that I considered my own life above everything else.

I write this out of total respect for you, as ever. One last point I would make to all is perhaps we can now move away from this board, I'm sure not everybody wants to read all this.

With kind regards,
