My challenge to the Conclave

Hello!

I'm sure you remember me, but in case your memory isn't quite as reliable as your promises, I am Tesha. I fought to secure your seat in the first Reckoning, and I fought in the second Reckoning, too. I am displeased with how you and yours reacted to the gibbering fool Gerald, or whatever his name was. I'm displeased by how my village handled it, too, but challenging one of your members sounds more productive.

I choose Haag.

I would like to formally challenge Haag for her position in the Conclave.

I recognise that the Conclave would need to legitimise such a challenge in order to facilitate a proper Reckoning, but I would be happy to meet any challenges you deign to set forth. In addition, I recognize I would need support for such a challenge, and for that reason, I intend to offer my assistance to each and every city. Whether you are Dawnlord or Tyrannus, expect a letter in the near future (whenever I remember, honestly, I'm a little unreliable, maybe like 3 months?) to coordinate a demonstration and/or assistance with a single project with the goal of securing your support for my candidacy in the Reckoning.

My qualifications are many, and my demerits many more. Failure has punctuated my life, but I
believe I am one of the bolder ones to walk the realm. I have taken risks, and I have made mistakes. I lost the Staff of Nicator in my attempt at destroying Gattan'bahar, who apparently was wearing gloves or something, but I am confident the majority of the population would have chosen to follow safety. I have been primarily absent from the fields of war in recent years, but I was not a member of the Conclave. I have heard several legends of the heroics of Yudhishthira, O'ising, and Hycanthus of recent times to help protect that which matters most, but I have heard absolutely nothing of Haag's contributions.

There are those who will never support me, and that is fine. There are those who believe themselves better candidates, and that is also fine. Put your name forward, join my challenge, and let us rip the seat from the hag of stagnation. Let us not hesitate for fear of failure - instead, let us act, for even failure is better than stagnation.

Members of the Conclave, I look forward to your response.

Love,
Tesha Young
