Additional Prize for the Revelry of Rot and Ruin
Written by: Overseer Grandue Xeh'ria, Keeper of the Iron Crown
Date: Sunday, February 2nd, 2025
Addressed to: Everyone
In the spirit of satire, spectacle, and scathing scrutiny, the Seat of Chaos shall award one million gold sovereigns to the guest who crafts the most cunning caricature of a modern-day Cyrenian - a portrait painted in jealousy, spite, and lust.
Capture the envious eyes, ever watching from the sidelines, resentful of revelry beyond their reach. Embody the thin-lipped smiles, concealing their contempt beneath a veneer of virtue. Illustrate the wringing hands, trembling at the thought of their fragile, festering world being mocked, measured, and found wanting.
Drape them in scarlet silk, if you must. Let them waltz in the wake of their wounded pride. Let them yearn for what they cannot claim, cannot conquer, and cannot comprehend.
For what is Cyrene, if not a study in repressed desire?

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Valnuary, in the year 967 AF.
