Gnomes are Actually Quite Good Conversationalists

Of course I will talk to the gnome. Why wouldn't I? They can be quite charming and witty given the chance.

On Hashani Guards, Sigils, and Isolationist economic policies:

Due to an unfortunate mishap Hashan was placed in a dire predicament commodity wise. Commodity trading and some monetary projects were temporarily shuttered to outsiders so we could strengthen our reserves. During this time a barrack of guards was given leave until such time the city could comfortably reinstate them. Whether this reinstatement occurred because of, or concurrently, with the sigil situation I cannot say.

As for Ita, nothing a little education and understanding can remedy. She was young, she is enthusiastic, and I am sure she has found a book in her expansive library about sigils by now.

On Forgotten words:

"But I never wrote anything about embezzlement. It was that hairy little gnome that first brought up the topic of embezzlement but he never got specific."
- Kinilan to Tahquil, Public 22132 posted on 13th Chronos 966 AF.

"Any reason what so ever to believe that he[Sir Aerek] wasn't benefitting from the embezzlement scheme I stumbled over in Hashan before being declared a traitor and kicked out without being allowed even a word in my own defense."
- Kinilan to Grandue, Public 22125 posted on 25th Miraman 966AF

As for everything else:
Unfortunately, the subjective is harder to argue against than the objective. I will leave your opinions of me for you to deal with, and allow those who read these posts to form their own opinions on the both of us.
