The Degradation of Eleusis and their Associates

Herald of the Rot indeed.

The rot of integrity, rot of moral standing, and rot of honesty.

That is all Eleusis stands for.

Of course, you use the term "flawed justifications" Speaker Blackwillow, Eleusis knows no other kind. First you lay in bed with Targossas, and now Ashtan as Targossas numbers are not enough to be of any service to you.

How quickly will you ignore Ashtan?

In truth, I am enjoying seeing you on Ashtan's leash, and imagining all of the twisted arguments you are telling yourselves and your novices about how Chaos serves or is a part of nature. Just as you have done with so many other coalitions that suited your purpose at that time.

Before any other person or city-state is tempted to fall into line behind Eleusis, I suggest you think first about your citizens. The Empire Examiner, for those who have been reading and those who have missed it, has been following the trail of the Ashen Scale.

Well, the trail leads right back to Eleusis.

By fighting "with" Eleusis you are doing nothing but allowing their rot to spread into your own homes, cities, and your citizens. You are making yourselves weaker, and for what? They have proven time and time again that their loyalty stretches as long as an evening shadow during winter solstice (it's non-existent).

As my final note, every city-state and many villages I would wager, have long joked about the rottenness of Eleusis. While most of Sapience has long joked that it is the top of Eleusis that is the most rotten, it is for once refreshing to see that you have not just come to terms with how rotten you are but fully embraced it.

You are the village of rot, but in your haste to take pride in your rottenness you forget the absolute truth that what is rotten, especially at the core, eventually collapses.
