To the Victor, the Laurels

Sapience,

I hereby invite all mortals to participate in a combat tournament to be held Atop the Great Rock.

The tournament will take place in seven months' time, one day before the Orphean Serenade in the dying moments of the month of Chronos of 966.

I shall be in attendance, and the victor shall wear My favour for no less than seven months' time.

To those bold enough to display before Me the fruits of My gift of Bladedance, Composition, and the Sagas of mortality and Woe, I offer you a further incentive: if a Bard should claim the title of victor, I will reward you with a particular boon, unique in this wide and wonderful world.

Seize your prize, if you are courageous enough!

Penned by My hand on the 9th of Miraman, in the year 966 AF.
