Ethermere Village

Greetings Sapience,

As you may recall, some years ago I announced plans to repurpose the former Temple of Khalas as a facility dedicated to education and knowledge. Following the announcement of the Cauda Rubra opening its doors, we welcomed many scholars, professors, and others from across the land who expressed interest in joining our ranks. Over time, they established homes, workshops, and facilities around the once-temple, forming a small settlement now known as Ethermere.

The gates to this community can be found in the southeastern section of the Savannah, near a Fishing pier along the Pachacacha.

Within Ethermere, you will encounter many individuals willing to teach a variety of subjects, particularly within the Trefoil Academy, which is overseen by the Cauda Rubra. The academy also houses a small public library, requiring a nominal fee to those who are not members or residents of the Cauda Rubra or Ethermere. The library collection will grow over time with new research and other contributions. A map is available at the village entrance, alongside helpful residents who can provide directions and guidance for whatever piques your interest. If you wish to rest for a moment, the teahouse welcomes all visitors with free tea and cups.

Teachers and subjects you may encounter include:

- Professor Newtron, specialising in Alchemy
- Professor Gonaquil, specialising in Ritualism
- Dr Wheer, specialising in Planar Physics
- Dr Frankenhart, specialising in Biological Studies
- Polymath Elisande, specialising in Philosophy
- Dame Magia, specialising in Metallurgy

You may also encounter other individuals in the community who have their own insights and expertise to share.

Any seeking to learn more about the Cauda Rubra or Ethermere, or if you're interested in getting involved, please reach out and I would be happy to assist with any enquiries.

RULES:
======

Ethermere is a hub dedicated to academia, innovation, and applied practice, and it is not to be used for:

- Attacks on others, physical or otherwise
- Fleeing initiated conflict
- Conquests of any kind
- Raising or using Shrines
- Reclamations of Nature

Access to Ethermere is a privilege, not a right. Any individual found obstructing the experience of others will have their access to the village revoked and will be removed, if necessary, to preserve the integrity of the community.
