Hullo friends, enemies, and everything-in-between!
The Carnivalis Institute of Jestering pulls back the proverbial curtain to point and laugh at the absurdity of life. We're here to jeer and remind everyone that, yes, everything is a little ridiculous if you look closely enough!
Our Counteragent's spotlight has fallen on Tilia Maliceux, and rightfully so. Now, it's not that we can't take a joke. Far from it! We all enjoyed the running gag of "I quit the CIJ and all I got was this stinky clan!" Even when strange things started to occur.
Newcomers without knowledge of any of the Maliceux joined and defended them with their last breath before quitting. The STC numbers grew and grew with dormant CIJ members breaking the Estate's rafters to crawl out of the woodwork and stomp their feet about the injustice of Tilia being dethroned (even though she quit the House mid-election and was found guilty of organizational theft and gross abuse of power soon afterward).
It was all pretty hilarious, honestly. We enjoyed the idiocy as only Fools can! After all, who hasn't watched a leader cling to their mantle long after it was significantly threadbare? Or wondered why the same cliques always seem to rise like frothy cream to the top of the churning political world?
The curse of our lives' longevity is that the same familiar faces and names cycle in and out, in and out, in and out like a carousel with interchangeable animals. The Carivalis Institute of Jestering broke that pattern. I am proud of them for doing so!
We didn't hold any of these events in confidence, but, at the same time, Tilia is a Senator in the city that many of us call home, so we've been very cautiously reticent. Now, after dealing with this for half a decade, the hellcat's clawed its way out of the bag though...
The Maliceux are permanently enemied to the Institute of Jestering. No time warp will ever save them from that fate. And further slander, organizational harassment, and the like will be met with very wet raspberries.
Thbptttttttt!

Postscript: Bellis, my husband has more gold in his bank account than the Institute of Jestering thanks to you lot. And mid-election credit sales to buy votes is just ewwwww. Shame on you all.
Penned by my hand on the 7th of Phaestian, in the year 960 AF.
