One must assume that you, in your busy and dutiful attention towards your own duties towards your Lord, simply missed the fine records kept by your own people on the matter. Given that zeal towards one's patron is a quality that must be admired no matter the arena, we choose to offend by offering the sin of forgiveness for prior ignorance.

As dawn broke on the morning of the 12th of Aeguary, 928 AF, the guild awoke to the news that our relationship would be officially changing towards the Duchy of Sirocco and the noble Chaghut; in exchange for their extensive efforts in support of the Guild as we continue to strengthen our roots, we pledged to stay our blades from their hides and to, if so called, defend them from those who might bring them harm. This matter passed after lengthy consideration and vote by the heads of the Doomguard, the Knights of Hashan, the Order of Thurisaz, the Infernal Rite, and the Gaian Knights, respectively.

That some knights among the guild are so moved by the efforts of these peoples is not surprising; the roots of the ancient times are not so deeply buried as some might prefer to think, and when efforts are made in support of feeding those roots, then there will surely be no shortage of knights inspired to take up arms in camaraderie.

May all who care to test their mettle find their just and apt judgment upon the battlefield.
