Aegoth,
You offer several mercies; you leave out of your account a few further examples from Eleusian history wherein the bedeviling allure of convenience saw our people abandon independence and strength for the pursuit of a hollow victory. Thankfully, this attitude - which was once the prevailing way of business in Eleusis - was largely purged by Her influence and Her rule.
But Eleusian history has not brought us here - it is the Mhaldorian present and future, and in this, I continue to hold fast to the axiom that seems to ring the truest: let actions speak louder than words.
If your Master's path is as you say, if your people's strength is as claimed, then there will be no Hashani summoned to save you from the consequences of your failings or to hinder the recognition of your victories - simply the blood of those brave enough to fight and die without relying on your enemies.
But, if not, then the results shall speak for themselves. Let the battlefields ring with the cries of blade against blade, for responding to the cries of Mhaldorians has already lightened my purse by far too great a sum.
Laiq tsuura,
Sir Aodfionn Wintermourne
