To Cyrene and the Order of Thurisaz,

My thoughts have been occupied lately by the fate of the Forest of
Light. I can only imagine the grief the earth felt when those
responsible for establishing your city tore down the forest. I recognise
the pain of this tragedy, despite it occurring at a time long before my
own.

As descendants of the Aalen Knights, the Gaian Knights are devoted to
maintaining the wild ways they were taught to us. Our dual lineage,
however, also connects us to the Guild of Knights and the Knights of
Seleucar, and through them, to the Order of Thurisaz. Due to this fact,
you deserve to be met with honour on the battlefield. I will, therefore, give you an opportunity to answer for the crimes you and your forefathers have committed against Nature.

You and your knights are challenged to meet me in battle over the next
five years. No challenge will be left unanswered. Blood will be spilled,
whether yours or mine, to repay Her for the destruction of Her realm.
