Lo-da'i, Sapients. Warm summer tidings to you.
Hu-Tannakh - and likely, all of those who value the continuation of life as we know it - remain grateful for the efforts of each of the living who took part in the successful assault upon the Underworld's usurpation of the Aalen kingdom. Na'ath aramad tsalaika'a - in these actions, you sowed the seeds of your own peoples' pride, and this must be both acknowledged and commended.
In the months since the victory of the living in the Aalen, however, the Underworld has continued to muster their forces. The ranks of the undying continue to swell and spill forth into the realm of the living - and in each instance, they raise havoc and endanger all life that comes into contact with them.
When they trespass into the world of living, they risk nothing; it is not their land that is scarred by the conflict. It is not their home in danger. It is ours. And if we are to ensure our own home is safe, we must force the enemy to defend their own.
Beginning four days from now, Lady Gaia's hordes will besiege the underworld, and shall continue to do so each serenade until the menace has been pushed back enough to give the living a moment to breathe.
We will warmly welcome the help of any living mortal, but we will demand the help of none. If we are to fail, and the underworld's forces reign supreme over the living, then let us at least put up the kind of fight that would force even the Great Bard to sing songs of our memory.
Laiq tsuura - in strength.
