It comes to no surprise that the education of base, unworthy heathens amounts to little more than one would expect of a brain-dead slug.

That the Wayward One has so thoroughly fooled so many of you is a sad testament to your ignorance. It is little wonder that the Divine hold mortals with so little regard, and absolutely no respect, when you jump and gawk at any rotten carrot They dangle in front of you.

Mortals may only achieve Godhood by way of manipulating Divine Essence. There are three rather prominent examples in recent history, though I am sure there are more.

- Maran, of olde, rose to become Pentharian by sacrificing himself in a ritual that bound the Divine Essence of Dunamis.

- Mortals attained a mere -fraction- of Divine power through the Goddess Maya's sacrifice so that we could play a role in the defeat of Bal'met. Even such power did not grant us Divinity Itself.

- The God Tlalaiad was wrought of Divine Essence by the Tsolteth when Targossas assisted Slith in the murder of Lord Thoth.

To whit, only the Logos, Sarapis, may actually create Divine Essence, and therefore Gods. Even Nicator, powerful as he was, did not achieve Godhood through his many feats, and the blessing of Sarapis Himself. That you believe the mere sacrifice of animals and sapient beings will bring you Godhood is a pathetic delusion borne of gross desperation.

But please, do not take my word for it. Continue to bluster and flail about at the whimsical desires of the Wayward. Mindless puppets as you are, I am sure the lesson that will come of this meaningless game will escape you.
