Your brazen attempts to influence the public under the guise of well-meaning concern have provided me with a modicum of amusement, so allow me to provide you with a lesson, free of charge.

Of course She is trying to manipulate us. I doubt there exists a God or Goddess that does not seek, in some way, to expand Their own influence by intervening in the affairs of mortality: that is, after all, what They do best. This is not news.

Nor, however, is guileful sophistry pretending to be altruism; even were They to disappear tomorrow, Their schemes amounting to so much dust in the wind, there would still be those men and women who seek out power and influence, hoarding titles and positions of leadership jealously. And you, standing 'for all Mortals' as you do, come off as another clumsy would-be demagogue, lacking grace and poise.

Where does that leave us? Well, from an outsider's perspective, it seems the principal difference between Pandora and you in this matter is not that She is trying to manipulate us and you are revealing some secret conspiracy from the goodness of your heart: it's that She has something interesting and unique (and more than likely dangerous) to offer, and you do not.

For your own sake, then, I pray your next attempt is a bit more polished, for it is no small thing, to contend openly with a God, and few are afforded the opportunity twice.
