First, an apology. I could not have imagined my meagre attempts at an inept defence would send the Speaker hurtling towards you in hopes of soothing his wounds. Therefore, I sincerely apologise.

Second, solidarity. Despite our previous grievances, the creeping fumes of Gaia's foetid blight is far more intolerable for those of us who work under the guiding flame of Civilization. Therefore, I earnestly wish you the best in the defence of your city.

Third, advice. I humbly suggest any non-combatants or unrelated parties (rogues, citizens of other cities et cetera) to be evacuated once the savages come calling, if only to avoid the headache of being blamed for their failed offensives.
