First off: I'm not smart. At all. If I were, then I would not have struggled through the novice ranks of more than three Houses.

But that's exactly of what I'm on about here. After the first time, I could easily have said, oh, it's that that was an especially difficult House! It was the House's fault!

But then it happened again. Totally new House, new City, new people!

If the same thing keeps happening in YOUR life, something like this? Well, that's what happened to me, and I conclude that's my fault.

Meanwhile, net result is that I'm now reasonably good (I think) at helping novices.
