Apologies for Acts of Aggression

To the warrior waterfowl of Boldarihm,
I respect the tenacity you've displayed in your constant assault on everything I hold dear. However, I do not wish to be your enemy. Our rivalry was born of a misguided action on my part. Upon seeing the fury in your eyes as you unleashed your wrath upon that poor Mhaldorian, I was driven into action. Not for sake of defending such a pitiful servant of the Malevolent one, but rather for the sake of all of Creation. I gazed into your soulless black eyes as you tore her to shreds, glimpsing naught but bottomless rage and remorseless fury. Terror struck me as your implacable visage turned toward me, the light of the morning sun glinting maliciously off of your sanguine-stained rust-wrapped blade. I had entirely convinced myself in that moment that you would never stop. The world would never be safe from your unending rage, and so I acted in what I perceived was heroic self-defense.
I was wrong.
I know now that what I perceived to be an endless bloodthirsty rage was simply the fear and righteous anger of a soul wrongly attacked. You sought retribution for the Mhaldorian's cruelty against you, as any being would when give the chance and the power to do so. I do not know whether my apology will be accepted or scorned, but know that I understand your choice, and respect you for it. I acted out of ignorance and struck you down as an unprovoked act of violence.
However, the violence you have wrought upon me and mine has gone far beyond simple retribution. I have not invaded your home, killed your family, and instilled terror upon your friends, yet you have done all of that and more. Without regret, you invaded my home. Without mercy, you slaughtered my family. Without regard for any potential fallout, you continue to attack me despite my hesitation to return the favor.
I do not blame you for any of this. I recognize that the blame rests solely on my shoulders. I don't know if you'll read this... Or if you can read, but I want to make things right. We both want only to defend our way of life, and it is my sincere hope that we can put these acts of aggression behind us and move forward.
Here's to hoping for a better future,
