I awoke to the sound of a thousand thunders and my spirit was anxious within me. I rose from my bed and hurried to the window of my chamber. I raised my eyes and saw and behold, the four great winds of the heavens blew across the six great seas, stirring them violently.

Many beasts and creatures came up out of the waters and the great winds blew against them. Buffetted and tossed about they were, so that even some were picked up from the depths and carried on the winds themselves.

As I watched, the east wind pulled up the weaker beasts from the favoured sea in the north and cast them into the western seas to be consumed by the creatures of those waters. Again, the east wind pulled up more from other great waters and cast them. Some were thrown into the sea and some were dashed upon the rocks. With each blow the western waters rose until finally they flooded the shore and swallowed the land.

Out of the surge the beasts crawled upon the whole face of the earth and when the waters receded the western sea was no more and the beasts would not return.

Again, I looked and behold, other fell winds carried upon them beasts and scattered them among the seas. The stars of the heavens began to wink out in the black expanse until there was none. By this I knew that a great time had passed.

Finally, those who were alive and remained were caught up together with them in the skies to meet with the Lord in the air. For some time they remained until they, too, were carried upon the final wind into what will come.
