Hello Sapience,
I write to you today to announce my upcoming book, tentatively titled "On the fragility of mortal ego: a study". Most of you can infer the contents from the title, but for Eryl specifically and any others that need it broken down a bit: it is a research study on how easy it is to offend the various mortals of the world.
This brings me to the next part of this post: I need your help in collecting information for my research. I would never expect my fellow mortals to work without compensation, so I'm making this into a competition with the chance to win credits. Right now I have 30 credits for first place, and 10 credits each for the next two best entries, but this prize pool may expand depending on the response.
What I'm looking for is your best joke or one-liner about Eryl. To enter, write your entry on two letters. Send one of those letters to me, signed with your name, and the other letter, unsigned, to Eryl. I will be judging the entries and disbursing prizes in Valnuary 879, so you have about half a year to come up with your very best.
This competition is open to anybody, including Targossians and Eryl himself, and you may enter as many times as you like. Librarians of Sapience, when the book is finished I will be providing free copies to all who ask for it.
I look forward to getting your letters.
