Moghedu, Hashan, and Evil

Citizens of Hashan,
The First Truth begins with the words, "What is called evil." Why not simply begin with, "Evil is..?" Western scholars posit that the Master in His infinite wisdom foresaw that mortals would resist the path of advancement, and so the very first lesson the Truths convey is that popular perception is divorced from reality. One must reject platitudes and one's intuition and look deeper. In the words of scripture, "The light of the enemies of the followers of the Lord is blinding to mortals...it is its blinding nature by which many falsely follow."
What you have condemned, called Evil, is the only way to achieve the societal Progress you all claim to value so dearly. Each mortal begins life weak and stays weak through inertia unless an external force or self-imposed hardship intervenes to drive them forward. It is only because this world has been shaped by His Black Hand over centuries that we have seen growth. It always comes with violence or with the intention of using greater knowledge to subjugate, brutalize, conquer.
A once-squabbling Shallam was destroyed and reconstituted as militant Targossas. Those who worship the Seasons or Rivers have faded to be replaced by those hungering for violent destruction of all civilization. A directionless Crown of the Ithmia was reforged into a scheming Court of Shadows, allying with otherworldly powers to advance its agenda and paying no heed to morality. And from its roots as a humble mining settlement, Moghedu has risen to create a knighthood, a school of conjuration, elite archers, and more.
Your new Seneschal, eager to prove herself, would now mire both Moghedu and Hashan in mediocrity, vaunting your Godlessness like a trophy when it is your curse. But Mhaldor is unbowed and undaunted by the task at hand. We will convert, enslave or annihilate all who make their home in Moghedu, and all Hashani who enter Moghedu's halls with the intention of opposing those goals.
His Malevolent Perfection is an inevitability. The only question is whether you or I will bring it into existence through indomitable will, or perish on the journey.
