Cyrene to drop fraternization laws in Imperiate's shock? decision
Today, it has been reported by one of our senior investigative journalists that the city of Cyrene has at last
decided to renounce its draconian laws against fraternization with city enemies in favour of a far more
lenient approach. It appears the change has come from the Imperiate herself, though the possibility of
consultation with others isn't yet being ruled out.
Investigative reporter, Elyon Wineapple was there to witness a trial of co-operative measures
between Cyrene and Mhaldor with Zylvith, Medi and Pani utilising their combined mights to try to combat Hashani
forces within the Sunderlands. Whilst ultimately unsuccessful in taking the Sunderlands for their own cause
a few casualties on both sides were handed out during the skirmish with several heads changing hands.
Those of you who have been following the tales of our intrepid newscasters on the case will know that this is in fact
not quite as surprising as it may have seemed at first, with many high profile Cyrenian citizens electing to make
deals with outsiders. Cyrene has recently opened its gates to Eleusians looking to hide from bounties, despite the
fundamental difference in views and the latter's wishes to destroy all cities the guests appear welcomed and looked after.
Even members of the senate themselves have been taking the opportunity to mend once broken bridges with former Hashani citizens
being spotted with politicians and even a senate member themself buying stolen property from a notorious thief at a hefty discount.
Who could these people be? This reporter will never tell!
What could be next for Cyrene? After the success of this month's pyjama party, could there be a Mhaldorian - Cyrenese speed-dating event on the cards?
Will Cyrene become the hub of democracy needed to mend the Eleusian - Targossian alliance? When asked on such matters, the Imperiate refused to comment
in writing but was happy to give the statement " Yes, well, I've reviewed the situation, and seems she's just fine. Have fun!". Clearly great words
of change for a city that was once so tightly constricted by its laws.
In other news, local philanthropist founds news company, swears to bring Truth to the masses,
Archon claims thief robbed same shop twice in two months? Sigil merchants not convinced
and finally, Ashtani woman loses head over unwanted gift incident.
