Imagine my surprise to awake in my bedchamber, creak my old ass out of bed and peruse the newsboards to see your post! I must say it was eloquent. It was brilliant. It was... just short of hypocritical.

When we did the same thing to your piss-streaked buildings, we were shouted down as savages.

When we slew every guard in Hashan we were called worse.

When we did the same to your wretched ill-luminated shrines all across the lands we were referred to as warmongers.

When we did it all at once, you all disappeared so you could claim to have no knowledge it was occurring.


You have FINALLY taken the lessons that Eleusis, and especially the Scions, have been espousing for generations. Nature is ever eternal and prevalent in everything. That you think we only refer to Her verdant lands when discussing Nature is, well.. frankly it's pretty funny considering how enlightened you all pretend to be.

You have utilized the very early-stage teachings of Nature and War to win a single battle, and kudos to you for that. To awaken and see that you managed to do so with only yourself, Mezghar, Krizal, Mazus, Eurice, Eryl, Issam, Gurklukke, Amranu, Tenen, Embrelle, and Arctutus is truly an accomplishment among itself.

And to do so against the likes of Totto, the fearsome Blademaster of Eleusis and the sheer volume of amazing warriors we have present - Colgano, Ploutos, uhhhh... Esan, and Smashy. I mean, bravo! Truly. Bravo Zulu to you! I'm even awake now, and 'cowering in your newsroom'.

That you then call our attacks 'cowardly' simply because you and yours run to slumber when we waltz onto your bloodstained streets is pretty close to the height of hilarious propoganda.


I laud your accomplishments. Truly. I cannot begin to imagine the courage your assemblage had to muster to face down the village of Eleusis at such mortal peril to yourselves. You stormed the high ground and secured it in spectacular fashion. It must have taken years of planning and amazing brainpower to strategize. Especially when you don't have Mhaldor assisting you as you have for the last year or so. I mean, it is like watching a newborn take its very first steps. I am really a proud papa.

I am curious on the thought process though...

'And how best to capitalize on such a victory? Clearly a post from their very own newsroom chastizing them for 'cowardly attacks' that are hollow victories! Yes! That is how. But when? When can we launch such a brilliant blitzkrieg maneuver? I know! We will do it when Totto is around so they can't say they didn't stand a chance. And then we can post saying "your supposed prowess is trivial" and "cease cowardly attacks when our soldiers slumber". IT IS BRILLIANT I TELL YOU! HOW COULD IT NOT BE?!'

That being said, your lessons are lost on us. Not because we are mere savages - rest assured we are, in all the ways that make you quake when we are even partially assembled - but because we accept the cycles of Nature and the terms of War, that losses are inevitable, and that those losses aid in new growth personally and collectively. War is much the same and thus why they intertwine to such similar idealogical ends.

Congratulations on your Progress to a level that brings the full onslaught of Hashan to the level of understanding we 'savages' in Eleusis understood roughly a century ago. And doing so not through interesting dialogue or marshalling an amazing amount of skill politically or even militarily - as Progress - but by resorting to the utter base instincts of sheer brute force you shamed not very long ago as savagery and warmongering. It seems we are not so different after all. Welcome to Eleusis, it seems you now understand our teachings and can bring them back to Hashan to prosletize to your people. Until then... know that you will become weary before the end of this. Enjoy this moment while you can. We intend to prove you far more correct than you fathom when you say 'A well understood principle in Hashan is that we all possess free will, but our choices have consequences'.
