Greetings Tailors,
I write to you on behalf of the Grand Merchant Collective. The strength of our House is a direct result of its diverse membership: merchants come from myriad backgrounds and economic stations, all possessing varying skills in the fields of trade and commerce. By expanding and sharing that knowledge, members of the Collective assist their peers not only through the accumulation of individual fortunes, but by raising the House to a powerful economic force in the global arena.
It has come to my attention that the area of menswear has become dominated by the uninspiring colour black. So I invite the tailors of the world to design some more colourful items to enrich our world. When was the last time that you saw some brown dress shoes, for example? Please take this opportunity to bring some colour into our lives.
The terms of the competition are as follows:
1. Entries will be accepted up until 25 Mayan 856 AF.
2. They must conform to design standards.
3. Craftmanship will be recognised and rewarded. We do not intend to be limited to a set number of prizes. The House is not short of gold and intends to mark the efforts of entrants appropriately.
4. The number of entries is limited to two.
5. Ownership of winning entries will revert to the GMC.
6. Entries and/or queries can be sent to Laytron, Keeper of the Coin and jugdgement will come from three House members, not involved in the competition.
Sharpen your needles!
Laytron
Penned by my hand on the 24th of Valnuary, in the year 855 AF.
