A general reminder, to those who are loudly changing their previously expressed loyalties, that if you wish to have the credit for loving something, you also have to put in the work. Writing long screeds about how much you love a place, how much it hurts to depart, how you ache for those you leave behind, does not count as the work for this purpose. Especially when you are going to run and immerse yourself in darkness.

Personally, I choose to stay, under the roof held aloft by the Pillars. There's plenty of room, comfortable warmth around a fire of conviction, and much fulfilling work to be done here. I understand Lady Pandora has even offered a very limited time engagement entertaining in our gardens.

I will stay, and do the work, and make our home even more beautiful.
