I hate to have to do this, because Halo is, for all his faults in this matter, a friend of mine. I am more aware of the details regarding this matter than anyone other than perhaps Halo himself and wish to make clear the truth in this matter. Halo made a deal with Isildur and made the same deal with myself. When he pointed out that he was having truble making ends meet because of the embargo I gave him gold to help in the matter and then proceded to buy many of the wares I needed for my shop from him rather than forge them myself. Each time I paid him well more than he had asked for for the goods. Halo then chose to be bribed by some into making whips and dirks for Ashtan, and chose not to tell anyone that the deal had been broken. Isildur took apropriate action to defend his guild and to punish the personal slight to him. Halo would not refute any of these facts I have made my personal peace with Halo but what he has done to the Paladins is unforgivable and any serious analysis of the facts would show that
