Ants are Sapients too?

Hi Arness!

That's not how ants work at all, I'm afraid.

Ants from different places will most definitely fight as much, if not more than, Sapients tend to fight each other.

Ant colonies are generally very tight-knit, and will violently defend what they perceive to be their home, if other ants come along. And since you can't get red ants and black ants in the same colony, your entire analogy doesn't work. This will happen without any outside interference whatsoever.

If you pulled off some miraculous feat and managed to breed red ants and black ants together, guess what? If you have that many in a single jar, they will cull the ones they deem weak, to preserve the stability of the colony.

Finally, if you somehow managed to magically get them to not do that... They'd suffocate anyway, and you'd be horrible for trying to do such a horrible experiment on innocent ants... Ants are basically mini-Sapients, I guess, in every way your attempted analogy tried to say they're not.

Now let us get back to our regularly scheduled posts from Mezghar, thank you!
