Dear Lord Lupus,
as follow-up to my previous post, in case it sounded diplomatic beyond understanding (which could be, afterall, I AM a long term Ambassador of Shallam), allow me a second version?
Dearest Lord Lupus.
Those Who are responsible for the death of Lady Selene are from Mhaldor.
It was on behalf of Mhaldorian Divine that the Worldreaver, Lord Bal'met, was summoned.
It was Lord Bal'met Who is responsible for the death of Lady Selene.
As well as for the deaths of many other Divine (Who will be missed forever, by the mortals who loved Them).
Also, due to the actions of Mhaldorian Divine and Their servants, my birthtown was killed, a city called Shallam, the Jewel of the East. The Jewel's Houses were killed, including my House, the Crystaline Circle. The Jewel's buildings were sunk, it's archives were killed, all it's posts, written by the many generations who lived there, as well as Shallam's language, Shallamese. I still fail to fully understand all of this.
We must also not forget the repeated deaths and suffering of all the mortals who defended Shallam, side by side with the defending Gods.
In a nutshell:
Lord Lupus.
Maybe You cannot remember all of this? Maybe You are not fully awake? Or in too much pain?
Or else, why would You attack Lady Artemis, cause pain to Lady Gaia and send Your creatures to attack Nature?
Why would You allow anyone to kill Eleusian villagers?
A simple minidragon as a Laras might not be in any political or economical position to address a Divine. I would not oppose such assement.
But a Laras already had the pleasure to live 500 years, which gives her the solitute and tranquility and confidence to publically state:
Lord Lupus.
I understand You are angry, and in pain. But ... as far as the historical facts are concerned, Your target should neither be Lady Artemis, nor Lady Gaia, nor Nature, nor Eleusis.
Look to the West.
With uttermost respect.
Truly yours,
Dr. Laras Op'Shae-Shiva, Minidragon
