All shall be attuned to the thrumming of Nature's beating heart: from
Nature were we born, and to Nature shall we die.

That which is borrowed from the earth - the gift of life - shall be
inevitably returned.

Under Nature's influence, all kin shall exist in harmony.

The falsities of Iron and Stone exist only to excel the erosion of the
world, and shall thusly be eliminated: no taint upon the earth shall be
tolerated.

In the cautious nascence of Nature, in rampant expansion, in golden
deadfall, and in vital decline shall the kin of Nature take heed.

These words are the foundation upon which Eleusian ideology are based upon, but what does it mean to one who is a Scion as well as a Villager?
We are charged with assisting the reclamation of Nature, in all of its glory. How can we do this, when we are at war with the ideologies of other cities and deities? When we are given to such a miniscule amount of time in our lives to accomplish great feats.

We are given tenets to live by, as Scions. Ones meant to guide us in our everyday lives in upholding the words of the Viridian Charter. To mold us into the Guardians of Nature, in strength and wisdom. Temperance to guide our hands, as we seek to live by the Viridian Charter. Ferocity, Tenacity, Territoriality and Communalism, ingrained into the fabric of the Scion's existence.

Through Ferocity, a Scion attacks the enemies of Nature with zeal, attempting to bring to ruin the cities of iron and stone. To drive back the encroaching machinations of those who do not care to preserve Nature or actively seek to harm it. Becoming attuned to spirits of Nature to repel the advancement of civilization in all of its forms.

With Tenacity, the Scion endures the trials and tribulations unyielding in mind and body. Bolstered by the rank and file of their brothers and sisters, a Scion fights on relentlessly. Determined to stand against the onslaught of the falsities of Iron and Stone, in harmony with all other Scions. Should one fall, another will take their place.

All lands are a part of Nature. Thus with Territoriality, the Scion seeks to reclaim lands lost to those who eschew Nature's bounty. To tear down the walls of cities and let the wild reach of Nature overtake them once more. To see all those who's ideologies are an afront to Nature, perish, may their flesh nurture the wild growth in their death.

In Communalism, the Scion learns to be selfless in the service to Nature. To develop strong ties with their brothers and sisters, lasting friendships and harmony. Like the many roots of a tree, many strengthen the whole to withstand any storm. In giving of one's talents and skills and knowledge, a Scion passes on the tools needed to live by the Viridian Charter and the Tenets.

It has been an honor and a joy to find purpose in service to Nature,
as a Scion foremost, and an Eleusian. To find and follow Nature's path as all were intended, though many choose to stray. With the Viridian Charter and the Tenets guiding my actions. In Harmony with my fellow Scions, until I too am returned to the cycle of Nature.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Glacian, in the year 843 AF.
