I know I should keep my nosey nose out of this, BUT I'm not going to. I believe both of you have valid points, and I also think you are missing the big picture.
Fires are natures way of renewing an area, or combination of areas, but it has to come at the right time, or the good you are trying to do is damaging, nothing more
Now, if you two want to argue the finer points of keeping nature balanced, that's great, people thrive on a little bit of what I call controversy for want of a better word.
But Please, let it not end in violence, that is a waste of time, and it just makes a LOT of people angry.
I also want to bring something else important to both of your attention: Life is too short to spend being angry and fighting over petty differences of opinion.
Please try to remember this, as it will help you in real life as well as here:):)
