Sloppy housewives,

When your city was first under assault by the Tsol'teth, I fought as hard as any to protect your home. I engaged Tsol'teth in duels, I chased them all over your streets, and I secured kills for other people to claim the glory. I made the greatest sacrifice in my power - I used the legendary Staff of Nicator to try to destroy Gattan'bahar. A fruitless endeavor, but a sacrifice nonetheless.

I later defended the lone Tsol'teth occupying Cyrene during the multi-pronged assaults upon Ashtan and Mhaldor, because something changed. We learned something about the Tsol'teth. We adapted, and we shifted our stance after careful consideration. We made a trade that was of mutual benefit, as there were flawed assumptions in our understanding of the Tsol'teth and their intentions. I do not regret this, and to offer an apology would be to offer falsehood.

And so, it is with a gentle heart that I ask you:

Why would you believe your ban on Targossians shopping is of any importance whatsoever? Even if the most dire result of incurring your wrath was something more impactful than losing the 'privilege' of shopping in your streets, the Dawnspear would stand united under the banners of the Bloodsworn. Your city amounts to little more than an overly populated tavern. Of course we wouldn't bow our heads before you. We bow our heads before none other than the Bloodsworn.

I am unclear what your citizenship even does with all of their free time, with no goals, aspirations, or greater cause to serve. Perhaps Taelle's literary masterpiece is evidence of having too much time and nothing of importance to do. Either way, it was unsurprising that the result of your inevitable multi-day debates, discussions, and meetings resulted in little more than a shopping ban. Really? Do you consider yourselves as much of a joke as the rest of Sapience views you?

The loss of the privilege of owning a shop in Targossas is an equitable response to the 'shopping ban'. You have been notified of your options. If you must whimper and whine about the injustice of it all, do so in one of your famous meetings. Even the usual nonsense of the public boards is of a higher quality than the tears of sloppy housewives.

So far, Cyrene has not attracted the attention of the Dawnspear.

Insult the Bloodsworn again, and you will.
